John was a veteran of many community theater shows including Oklahoma, Guys & Dolls, Jesus Christ Superstar and Damn Yankees. In his free time, John performed as a professional stand up comedian, regularly appearing at Catch a Rising Star Comedy Club inside Twin River Casino.
