Fred was a longtime local theater performer, having appeared with Barrington Players, Community Players of Pawtucket, East Providence Community Theatre, Parish House Players in Providence, Park Place Players in Pawtucket, Seekonk Stage, and Theatre Works in Fiddler on the Roof and The Sound of Music. Fred was Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Bryant University. He and his wife, Alice, operated an antiques business, and their furniture and props appeared on the Theatre Works stage far more often than he did!
