A Rhode Island native born in Providence, Padraig Mahoney developed a knack for impersonations and voices after a largely mute childhood. He began improvisational comedy in high school before enlisting in the Army National Guard. After a tour of active duty, he returned to the stage. He was previously seen as Ant'ny Junior in Theatre Works' Ant'ny Claus: A Dysfunctional Family Christmas and studied Education at Rhode Island College.
